The South Dakota Department of Public Safety has released the names of two men from Wisconsin involved in a single-vehicle fatal crash near Pukwana last Friday. Around 11:35 am, 75 year old George Edward Wachuta from Brooklyn Wisconsin was driving a Ford F-250 westbound on I-90 near mile marker 273 when the vehicle began moving towards the median. He attempted to correct before the Ford went over the median crossover and rolled. He sustained fatal injuries. His passenger, 67 year old Lyle Alfred Anderson from Chaseburg, Wisconsin, was taken to a Chamberlain hospital with serious non-life-threatening injuries. Both were wearing seatbelts.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol is continuing its investigation into the crash.
