Avera Brady Health and Rehabilitation recognized by South Dakota Association of Healthcare Organizations

The South Dakota Association of Healthcare Organizations recently recognized Avera Brady as the Outstanding Facility of the Year, third place in Art and presented CNA Amy Preston with the Frontline Caregiver award.

Avera Brady Administrator Kim Longe credits the staff. “We work really hard every day,” Longe said. “We strive for quality and so just to take a few minutes and celebrate the wins is just what it means for us,” she continued. “It’s really nice to just let everybody know that their hard work is being recognized.”

Preston has served Avera Brady residents for sixteen years. “What gets me the most is when you take care of someone and then later on you take care of their parents and they remember you,” Preston said.
