The City of Mitchell will have a special collection for Christmas trees during the week of January 6th – 10th, 2025. Place the trees curbside on the same day of your garbage collection. Again, these will be picked up curbside only.

Christmas trees may also be taken to the compost drop-off site located at 1405 West 8th Ave which will be open January 1st – 17th, 2023. You can bring Christmas trees to this location to drop off from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
