One person died Wednesday from injuries received in a June 27 crash north of Watertown.
The South Dakota Department of Public Safety reported the 21 year old male driver of a Terragotor crop sprayer was making a left turn from 455th Avenue into a field approach when the 87 year old female driver of an SUV attempted to pass and collided with the tractor. Both drivers were not injured. An 88 year old male passenger in the SUV suffered serious, life-threatening injuries and was transported by ambulance to a local hospital. He passed away on July 3 from his injuries.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating the crash. All information released so far is preliminary.
