Davison County has seen a jump in new COVID-19 cases. The South Dakota Health Department is reporting eight new cases on Friday boosting the county total to 65 cases, 19 of which are active and 46 recovered with 1,899 negative tests thus far.
That’s the highest single-day increase since June 3rd and 5th when the number jumped by four on each of those days.
Statewide, there are 95 new cases Friday along with 71 newly recovered, 61 patients currently hospitalized and one new death boosting the total to 116.
Cases in Davison county are trending upward over the last fourteen days.
