Davison County is open for business. That’s the word from county commission chairwoman Brenda Bode. “We’re going to use limited staff,” said Bode. “Our intent is to be able to provide the services the tax-payers will be needing, but to try to keep at least a minimum amount of employees there for exposure reasons so that we can rotate them in and out by the week.”
Commissioners held a telephonic meeting late Saturday afternoon to devise a plan in the form of an emergency declaration. Bode is asking the public for help as well. “To use the phone services and online services as much as possible for their protection also,” Bode said.
She says commissioners and staff will re-group on Friday to determine how the plan is operating and conduct a needs assessment for ongoing operations.
