Davison County patients with COVID-19 virus have recovered

We now know the two patients in Davison County that tested positive for the COVID-19 virus have recovered. That’s the word from the South Dakota Health Department. The website covid.sd.gov is now including both the number of patients who’ve recovered plus their counties.

Wednesday’s latest numbers indicate 129 cases of the virus which is up by 21 from Tuesday. 51 patients have recovered and a second person has died from the COVID-19 virus. 3,903 people have tested negative and no tests are pending at the state health lab.

Minnehaha County has the most cases with 40 and 11 recovered. Beadle County has 21 cases with 12 recovered. The 50-59 year old age group has the most infections with 30 followed by 40-49 years old with 26.

69 men and 60 women have tested positive.

The COVID-19 virus is now present in 29 South Dakota Counties.
