Davison County Commissioners have placed load restrictions on County roads due to deteriorating conditions caused by spring thaw, recent rains and melting snow.
The limits take effect at noon, Wednesday, March 20th.
A six ton per axle weight limit is placed on all Davison County oil roads effective immediately. All roads posted 80,000 pound gross total will also be posted six ton per axle weight limit.
Exclusions include:
254th Street (Highway 16) between 394th and 408th Avenue, from Aurora County line to Mitchell.
397th Avenue from I-90 to Mount Vernon.
403rd Avenue (Betts Road) from 255th Street to I-90.
403rd Avenue (Betts Road) to 254th Street to the unincorporated town of Betts.
247th Street (Ethanol Road) from 405th Avenue to SD Highway 37 (409th Avenue) will be posted as eight ton per axle.
