THE DAVISON COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE AND JAIL IS ENACTING THE FOLLOWING PROCEDURES TO ASSIST WITH PREVENTING THE SPREAD OF COVID-19 (CORONAVIRUS) FOR THE PROTECTION OF OUR INMATES, STAFF, VISITORS AND GENERAL PUBLIC.
THE FOLLOWING SERVICES ARE TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED:
CIVIL AND PISTOL PERMIT FINGERPRINTS ARE CANCELLED;
JAIL PUBLIC VISITS: CANCELLED: You can still contact your family member or friend via telephone calls or their texting device.
Attorneys who wish to visit their inmates but do not want to do it face-to-face can arrange an ITV visit via the court system. Call 605-995-8630 to arrange.
INMATE CHURCH SERVICES ARE CANCELLED.
INMATE AA MEETINGS ARE CANCELLED.
COURT ATTENDANCE: RESTRICTED
AT THIS TIME ATTENDANCE TO COURT PROCEEDINGS WILL BE RESTRICTED TO THOSE THAT ARE SCHEDULED TO APPEAR, THEIR ATTORNEY’S AND THE MEDIA.
ALL OTHER SPECTATORS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED IN THE COURTROOM.
WE ANTICIPATE THESE RESTRICTIONS AND CANCELLATIONS TO BE SHORT LIVED.
