(NEW YORK) — Calling all shopaholics!
RetailMeNot has a new offer that could turn your guilty pleasure into a dream job.
The online coupon distributor is looking for a shopping specialist — someone who would get paid to spend $5,000 over the course of a week to shop at different vendors featured on the RetailMeNot app and website.
And, the listing says, “Keep everything you buy. Seriously.”
The new shopping specialist will have to buy from a minimum of five stores — selected every day by RetailMeNot — over the course of one week, as well as note how effective the various RetailMeNot offers are and share their experiences of shopping with those offers.
RetailMeNot will also take care of one meal a day — because you’re sure to get tired with all this shopping — via its casual dining offers.
“We are introducing this new position to ensure that we are giving RetailMeNot users the best, smoothest shopping experience as they score a deal at their favorite retailers and restaurants,” RetailMeNot Senior Vice President of Marketing Scott Sundheim told ABC News’ Good Morning America.
In terms of qualifications, RetailMeNot is looking for:
- At least two years of in-store and online shopping experience
- Someone who is always at the forefront of the best deals
- Someone who can navigate all types of store locations such as malls, shopping centers, and virtual retailers
- A savvy user of coupons, promo codes, and cash-back offers
- At least 18 years old
- Authorized to work in U.S.
RetailMeNot told GMA that the shopping specialist position has no specified end date at this time.
Interested? Applicants just need to send a short video of themselves, their shopping habits, what they do to find the best deals and share their social media handles. You can find out all the details here.
