Dakota Wesleyan Student Life recently announced a new addition to the DWU staff. Pastor Taryn Ragels has been appointed part-time Associate Pastor.
Ragels is a Mitchell native who serves as the lead pastor at Fusion Church, and has been an integral part of the campus community for several years, actively engaging with students and fostering an inclusive and supportive environment. Her commitment to nurturing meaningful relationships with students, creating opportunities for service, and building bridges between the campus and the greater Mitchell community resonates with DWU’s pillars of learning, leadership, faith and service.
President Dan Kittle is pleased with the expansion of Campus Ministry services. “Dakota Wesleyan University is fortunate to officially welcome Pastor Taryn. I have great respect for Taryn and know that she will enhance not just campus ministry at DWU, but positively impact the entire university. She is bright and compassionate and will be a wonderful mentor to students and colleagues.”
Campus Pastor Anthony Purcell is also excited to welcome Ragels to the Campus Ministry team. “With Taryn’s continued role as the lead pastor at Fusion Church, she brings a wealth of experience and insight that will undoubtedly enhance the spiritual and personal growth of our students. Her dedication to guiding students along their faith journey and empowering them to become leaders within our community aligns perfectly with the values of DWU.”
Pastor Ragels will continue to serve Fusion Church 3/4 time and will begin her 1/4 time DWU duties immediately.
