DWU Board of Trustees Extends Presidential Contract

At its March meeting, the Dakota Wesleyan University Board of Trustees voted to extend President Dan Kittle’s contract by five more years.

Kittle was hired as the 21st president of DWU in 2022 with a three-year contract. This new contract will extend his employment with the university through the 2029-2030 school year.

Kittle expressed gratitude for the new contract. “I am honored to continue serving as president of Dakota Wesleyan University and deeply grateful for the board’s trust and support. This institution holds a special place in my heart, and I remain committed to working alongside my colleagues to provide the very best for our students. My family and I are proud to call Mitchell home, and we look forward to continuing our service to this great university and community.”
