This January, Dakota Wesleyan University will resume face-to-face classes for on-campus students with one major revision.
The first day of classes for the new semester will be Monday, Jan. 18 and not Jan. 11 as originally planned.
“In order to create a two-week window between New Year’s Eve and the start of the spring semester, DWU will move its semester start date back by one week,” said DWU President Amy Novak. “This will allow additional quarantine time if students are exposed to COVID-19 over the holidays.”
The additional two weeks will also allow time for students looking to transfer to DWU at the start of the new semester. DWU is offering an additional $2,000 in scholarship funds, on top of other scholarships, to any student who transfers to DWU in 2021. For more information on transferring to DWU, visit www.dwutransfer2000.com.
DWU classes will remain face-to-face through the last day of the spring semester, Friday, May 7.
