Beginning January 2021, students who decide to transfer to Dakota Wesleyan University will receive an additional $2,000 in scholarship funds.
In addition to the $2,000 transfer scholarship, students will also have opportunities to receive academic, athletic, fine arts and needs based scholarships.
“In a time of uncertainty, many students are questioning their path and struggling to know what to do next. This transfer scholarship encompasses what it means to have a fresh start,” said Vice President of Admissions and Marketing, Fredel Thomas. “Our whole campus community, from faculty and staff members to coaches and directors, will go above and beyond to make sure your experience at Wesleyan is one you will cherish for the rest of your life.”
DWU is transfer-friendly and promises to turn what can be an overwhelming and lengthy process, into a smooth and easy transition for all new students. DWU’s admissions team will work with each student individually from the time they apply, to their first day of class and beyond.
“I transferred to DWU because I felt right at home as soon as I was on campus. DWU challenges and encourages students in a unique, effective and different way from all other universities. The professors go above and beyond to create personal relationships,” said DWU transfer student, Jadie DeLange.
In-person classes for the next academic semester will begin Monday, Jan. 18, 2021. Students can apply for admission to DWU any time between now and January 8.
“As we work to create the safest environment for each and every member of our campus and community, our goal is to keep students on-campus and in the classroom”, said Thomas.
