Approximately 100 students are scheduled to take the college ACT exam Saturday at Mitchell High School. However, Counselor Erin Fowkes says students are required to wear face-masks as per Mitchell School District policy. “And they will be sent away if they refuse or won’t wear one,” said Fowkes.
She’s looking to round up about 100 masks to make sure there are enough for students taking the exam Saturday. “If anyone is making face masks and would like to make a very generous donation to the high school to those students coming to take the ACT…I would be eternally grateful,” Fowkes said.
You may drop off your mask donation in a secured blue-barrel at the front door.
Fowkes says after the exam they’ll launder the masks and keep them for future use in the district.
