An unidentified man died in a single vehicle crash four miles west of Kadoka Friday evening.
The South Dakota Department of Public Safety reported preliminary crash information indicates the driver of a pickup truck was traveling eastbound on Interstate 90 around 6:20 pm when for unknown reasons, the vehicle struck a roadside cable barrier then entered the median and rolled. When it came to final rest in the median, the vehicle then caught fire. The driver sustained fatal injuries.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating the crash. All information released so far is only preliminary.
