A 71 year old man from Chicago, Illinois died in a single-vehicle crash Friday afternoon three miles east of Chamberlain.
The South Dakota Department of Public Safety reported around 2:20 pm, the driver of a 2014 Harley Davidson FLHTCU was traveling west on I-90 near mile marker 268. The motorcycle began wobbling and then went down separating the driver from the motorcycle which entered the ditch. The driver was transported to Chamberlain Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
The man’s name has not been released pending notification of family members.
