A 53 year old man from Gregory died Saturday in a single-vehicle crash on 339th Avenue, three miles south of Gregory.
The South Dakota Department of Public Safety reported a 2016 Honda UTV was traveling southbound on 339th Avenue near 292nd Street when the vehicle left the roadway and entered a steep embankment and rolled into a creek. The time of the crash is under investigation. The driver was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
The name of the person involved has not been released pending notification of family members.
