Last week the James Valley Drug and DUI Court hosted a commencement ceremony for two graduates.
2022 James Valley Drug Court program graduate John Peterson delivered the keynote address….
Graduate Jai had 514 days sober and paid off $916 in related costs….
The second graduate had 570 days sober and paid off $1,300 in related costs.
The mission of the James Valley Drug/DUI Court Program is to provide
community based rehabilitation through the use of intensive treatment and
supervision to stop the cycle of repeat offenders and addiction, thereby
creating safe communities and reducing the costs of corrections. The Program
length is determined by each participant but is no less than eighteen months.
