Mitchell Mayor Bob Everson ended his six-year stint as Mayor during Monday night’s city council meeting with words of gratitude to the council and others…..
Earlier in the meeting members of the community thanked Everson for his leadership in advancing several large projects including Lake Mitchell restoration, seeking a secondary water source, and numerous infrastructure projects to help ensure continued growth in the future.
Before his election as Mayor, Everson also served on the Park and Recreation Board as well as the Mitchell School Board.
Mayor-elect Jordan Hanson will take office during the July first Mitchell City Council meeting.
