A 53 year old man from Webster man died and his passenger was injured in a single vehicle motorcycle crash early Thursday morning, five miles east of Fedora.
The South Dakota Department of Public Safety reported around 2 am, the driver of a Harley Davidson motorcycle was traveling east on SD Highway 34 and went into the south ditch. The driver died at the scene and a 25 year old male passenger sustained serious, non-life-threatening injuries. Neither were wearing helmets.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
The names of the persons involved have not been released pending notification of family members.
