South Dakota’s COVID-19 count continues to inch higher.
The State Health Department report Tuesday that one additional South Dakotan has been confirmed to have the virus, bringing the state’s total number of positive cases to eleven.
The latest case is in a female from Minnehaha County in the 50-59 age bracket.
She becomes just the second female in the state to test positive for coronavirus, and the fifth person from Minnehaha County to test positive.
551 people have tested negative for COVID-19 and 35 tests are pending.
