The website niche.com recently named Mitchell High School as the best public high school in South Dakota. Superintendent Joe Childs learned about it in a round-about way…..
And as expected, Childs did some homework and learned niche.com uses reviews from former students as part of its ratings…..
He says the students also mentioned the dual-credit opportunities and variety of activities available….
While the current high school building rating was low, Childs says the new high school building should correct that.
