The Mitchell Area Development corporation is offering a unique opportunity for area non-profit organizations. The MADC currently owns the lot at 301 N. Main Street. Plans for development are on the horizon but in the meantime, the lot will be offered as an exclusive unique opportunity to our local area non-profit organizations.
“We feel this lot is a prime location for your organization to hold an event, showcase your association, fund raise or provide a relaxing and safe social gathering place while we safely wait out COVID-19,” said Mark Vaux, executive director.
Whether it be a flea market, craft fair, cultural event, art festival, food fair … you get the picture. The Mitchell Area Greater Development Corporation would love to see this lot be a benefit to your organization and to our community.
If you have an event coming up or one you would like to host downtown, 301 N. Main Street may be the outdoor venue you are looking for.
Please note that the lot is bare ground, without electricity, garbage, water or restrooms presently accessible. With that in mind, there may be options available through other entities that could help navigate these issues.
