The Mitchell School Board is joining the ranks of public entities conducting its meetings virtually. Superintendent Joe Graves says group will use technology called “Google Meet” for Monday’s meeting. “Each of the board members will be going on at a site of their own choosing on their own computer in order to keep social distancing,” said Graves. “I’ll be placed at the MC-TEA room 10 in order to make sure, along with Levi Hohn our technology director, that everything’s going well.”
He says the board will follow the agenda in that format. “The public will be invited to listen in and at certain points of the meeting possibly engage as they wish to like at a normal board meeting,” Graves continued. “And they can do that by calling in.”
The call-in number is 605-224-1125, then inputting the PIN number, 0347110, followed by the pound-sign (#).
The meeting starts at 5 pm and is accessible to the community. KORN News Radio will participate in Monday’s meeting remotely.
