A number of Mitchell School District teachers got a financial boost to start the new school year through the Kids Grant program.
Here’s a list of the Kids Grant recipients and their programs:
GBR Elementary:
- Fosness & Moody: Empower All Partners awarded $1,760.00
LBW Elementary:
- Karmin McGinnis: Light Up Learning awarded $842.47
- Stacie Biggerstaff and Nancy Osterloo: Cultivating a Love of Learning awarded $1,042.00
District-wide:
- Steckel, Carlson, & Gubbrud: Connecting with Community awarded $1,000.00
- Norden: Mitchell Kernel Club Expansion awarded $3,000.00
Longfellow Elementary Dens (School-wide):
- Manage Yourself, Manage Your Money, Manage your Fun awarded $2,500.00
MHS:
- Bialas, Zins: Inclusive Imagination: Building Bonds and Skills through Creative Collaboration awarded $1,800.00
- Shannon: Product Photography for the 21st century awarded $2,000.00
- Rylance: Contemporary Communication awarded $3,112.00
MMS:
- Renee Berg: Humans of Mitchell awarded $1,872.00
- Winter, Decker, & Steckel: Sunshine for 6-8 students awarded $2,189.71
