college in South Dakota and ranked #13 nationally in WalletHub’s 2025 Best & Worst
Community Colleges report.
Each year, WalletHub evaluates more than 650 community colleges across the United States,
measuring key factors such as cost and financing, education outcomes, and career
outcomes. Mitchell Tech’s strong performance in student success, affordability, and workforce
readiness propelled the institution to the top of the rankings both locally and on the national
stage.
