The Mitchell Technical College Foundation held their annual Donor Appreciation
Reception on Thursday, December 12, 2024. More than 150 people attended the event
which recognized individuals and business partners for their support of the students
and staff at Mitchell Technical College.
Award Recipients
• Individual Donor – Annually recognizes an individual or family who have made a
substantial single or multi-year commitment to an MTC Foundation initiative, a
program or a scholarship.
o Terry & Deb Sabers
• Corporate Donors – Given each year to a company which has made a significant
single or multi-year commitment to an MTC Foundation initiative, a program or a
scholarship.
o FS3 & Intelli-Core
• Donor Legacy – Honors a donor who has consistently supported the MTC
Foundation.
o Agtegra
• Volunteerism & Service – Given to an individual who has given of their time and
talent to the MTC Foundation.
o Women for Success @ Tech
▪ During the Donor Appreciation Reception, the Women for Success
@ Tech held a silent auction which raised $2,449.
In addition to the award recipients, Sheryl Plagmann was recognized for her substantial
contributions to Mitchell Technical College’s Foundation over the past 15 years. Sheryl’s
time in the Foundation has been “all encompassing” and she has pushed back her
retirement from December 2024 to May 2025 to assist the new Director of Foundation
Relations in the transition into her role.
Heather Kulm was introduced as the new Director of Foundation Relations. She was
previously Director of Admissions at Mitchell Technical College. The Foundation also
welcomed Josh Lawson, First Dakota National Bank, and Tyler Klumb, Pioneer Seed,
to the Foundation Board of Trustees.
