Even though the classrooms are empty, there’s plenty of activity at Mitchell Technical College.
President Theresa Kriese says fall registration started last week. “We had about 1,800 people on our campus with our fall registration,” Kriese said. “We have a full class coming in. As always, we always have room if someone is still trying to make their choice.”
Kriese said it was nice to welcome the freshman students and their parents on campus to look around and get their schedules finalized.
Two major construction projects are just about done. “Fortunately, last week, our amphitheater remodel project was done to the point that we could use that for our registration,” Kriese said. “It was a great way to showcase that new facility. It looks great.”
She added the new underground utilities lab should be completed toward the end of July.
Kriese says fall enrollment numbers look encouraging. MTC’s fall semester begins on August 24th.
