Fifty-two brightly and creatively decorated floats brought the Christmas holiday spirit to life during Mitchell’s annual Parade of Lights Tuesday evening.
Mitchell Main Street and Beyond’s Liz Luczak was overjoyed. “That’s how cool we are, that’s how strong we are when we come together,” said Luczak.
This year’s theme: Classic Christmas Characters.
In the Community Organization category, the judges selected: Mitchell Marlins Boys Varsity for Best Use of Lights and Theme with the Mitchell Figure Skating Club earning the Grand Marshal’s Award.
In the Small Business category: Zach Scott Construction captured the award for Best Use of Lights and Theme with the Grand Marshal’s Award going to Elite Renovations.
In the Large Business Category, the Best Use of Lights and Theme went to Krohmer Plumbing with Iverson Auto taking the Grand Marshal’s Award.
