A 56 year old man from Spearfish died Sunday from injuries sustained in a single-vehicle crash Saturday near Spearfish.
The South Dakota Department of Public Safety reported around 5:45 pm the driver of a 1995 Harley Davidson was traveling west on I-90 when he started to lose control of the motorcycle and laid it down. In the process, he became separated from the motorcycle. The driver was taken to a Spearfish Hospital before being transferred to a Rapid City hospital. The driver died from his injuries on Sunday, July 26th. The investigation is ongoing.
Names of the those involved have not been released pending notification of family members.
