The South Dakota Department of Public Safety has released the name of a woman who died last week in a single vehicle crash northwest of Parker in Turner County.
Crash information indicates 61 year old Nancy Jane Ruland from Parker, was driving a Toyota Rav 4 northbound on 451st Avenue near the 269th Street intersection around 6:15 pm on Thursday. The Toyota left the road, drove over a culvert, and rolled. It came to a rest upside down in a shallow pond. Ruland sustained fatal injuries. She was wearing a seatbelt. She was the only person in the vehicle.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol is continuing its investigation.
