Nebraska farmers, in general, are expecting some good crop yields this fall.
Michael Dibbern, who farms near Wood River in central
Nebraska, says yields won’t match last year’s record yields, but they’ll come
close.
“Our (corn) average will probably be about 245. I think we
did about 255 last year, so probably 240 to 245,” Dibbern says. “Soybeans, we’re
looking at 65 to 70.”
Dibbern says they’ve had twice as much rain this year as
they normally do.
