A new Daktronics scoreboard is up and running at Joe Quintal Stadium, just in time for the fall athletic season, thanks to a boost from Bankwest.
Activities Director Corey Aadland says it’s what he’s wanted for a longtime. “This wasn’t in my plan for another five years until Bankwest came in and they completely changed my plan,” said Aadland. “So thanks to their very generous support we were able to include this in the project.”

Liz Salmonson is Bankwest branch Manager. She brought the project to the attention of the bank’s leaders. “It was no question,” Salmonson said. “They wanted to look at the whole project and how we could give back to the school district.”
Mitchell School Board president Brittni Flood is grateful. “We just really want to thank Bankwest,” said Flood. “We wouldn’t be able to do this without them and also their help with the indoor scoreboards as well.”
The new Daktronics scoreboard features higher resolution images, animation, crisp sound and state of the art controls.
It will debut at Saturday’s soccer matches.
