One person died and another was injured in a single-vehicle rollover crash Sunday in rural Davison County.
Sheriff Steve Harr says it happened just before 2 pm near the intersection of 245th Street and 402nd Avenue. “It appears there was a vehicle going westbound on 245th Street ,” said Harr. “When it got to 402nd Avenue, the driver lost control of the vehicle and rolled the vehicle.” At that intersection the road changes from asphalt to gravel.
Harr says it appears the driver was partially ejected from the Kia Spectra and died at the scene. The passenger had minor injuries.
The names of those involved are being withheld pending notification of family members.
The Davison Country Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash and more information will be released later.
