A 27 year old woman from McCall, Idaho died in a single motorcycle crash seven miles south of Keystone Saturday evening.
The South Dakota Department of Public Safety reported around 5:05 pm, the driver of a 2015 Husqvarna motorcycle was traveling eastbound on US Highway 16A and began to pass a group of motorcycles. Entering a sharp curve, the driver lost control and became separated from her motorcycle, sliding off the road. She was wearing a helmet.
She was transported to a Rapid City hospital where she died from her injuries.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
The name of the person involved has not been released pending notification of family members.
