We’re just over a month away from Election Day. South Dakota Secretary of State Monae Johnson is spending time educating voters of what to expect when they go to the polls. “This year we do have a big ballot”, Johnson said. “It goes from the President, Congress, race, we have a PUC race, we have a Supreme Court Justice retention race. The of course we have seven ballot measures. There’s a lot to read up on.”
Plus, voters may take a sample ballot with them when they vote. “So we encourage people to get it from the County Auditor, or you can print it off from my website, which is sdsos.gov,” said Johnson.
Voter registration deadline for the November 5th election is October 21st.
