The start of the 2024-25 school year in Mitchell is less than a month away as the first day of school is set for August 21st.
Superintendent Joe Childs is encouraging parents to help their students in preparing to return to a school schedule….
He says last year showing up to school and being present was an emphasis for the district which will continue into the new school year….
The Mitchell School District is also continuing its efforts in reducing chronic absenteeism.
