A new overnight venue for weddings and large social events in the Johnson Block Lofts at 3rd and Lawler in downtown Mitchell is currently hosting wedding parties, family reunions, employee retreats, or any special celebration. Bookings are available for future events and fall hunting groups.
Loft Events & Lodging at The Johnson Block Lofts is part of the historic building constructed in 1920 that was formally home to the popular Johnson Furniture store.
Loft Events & Lodging offers over 4,900 square feet, accommodating 100 people for meeting and entertaining, or a combination of usages, including lodging for up to 25 people. Ceilings reaching almost 20 feet, with comfortable and contemporary furnishings, highlight this newly renovated space. Guests will love the modern amenities, full kitchen, floor-to-ceiling fireplace and private entrance. Space furnishings can be removed to beautifully accommodate event and banquet needs.
For overnight options, Loft Events & Lodging is a spacious home away from home with five bedrooms, a custom fully stocked open concept kitchen, dining and living room, with two full bathrooms. Perfect for reunions and pre-wedding events such as engagement parties, showers, rehearsal dinners and, day of preparation celebrations.
For hunters, dedicated space to place kennels can be accommodated.
Off street parking is available, Loft Events & Lodging is situated just a short walk to dining and entertainment and Mitchell’s Corn Palace.
The Johnson Block Lofts by CAM Companies, offers 16 unique and historical residential units, street level retail shops Michelle’s Mad Batter and Bonnie’s Dékor, in addition to Loft Events & Lodging. Additional retail space is currently available with build out renovation options.
