Statewide COVID-19 count rises while Davison County holds steady

73 more South Dakotans have tested positive for the COVID-19 virus as of Wednesday. That brings the total to 393 cases statewide with 146 recovered and six deaths thus far. Negative tests are up to 6,355 and total hospitalizations at 26.

Davison County remains at 3 cases with 3 recovered. Three counties directly adjacent to Davison County, Sanborn, Douglas and Hanson counties have no reported COVID-19 cases. Aurora County has one case with one recovered. Hutchinson County has two cases with two recovered.

Minnehaha County has the most cases with 228 followed by Lincoln County at 31. Beadle County which had an early surge has leveled off with 21 cases and 19 recovered.
