Three more test positive for COVID-19 virus

Three more individuals have tested presumptively positive for the COVID19 virus. Governor Kristi Noem says they include two men from Minnehaha County one in his 30’s and the other in his 40’s plus a man from Bon Homme County in his 60’s.

“We’ve had 27 negative tests come back, we’ve had eight now positive tests, and we have eleven tests that are still pending,” said Noem.

She says additional testing is planned. “We expect there to be more positives as we go into the future, and I want to remind everybody that 80% of those who do get this virus will have no symptoms or very mild symptoms,” said the Governor

Noem again stressed older individuals and those who may have pre-existing health conditions to take extra precautions.
