Even though construction’s been underway for some time, the Safe Place of Eastern South Dakota hosted its ground-breaking for its new facility.
Executive Director Coleen Hoffman says it’ll enhance its current services….
Plus improved visitation services…..
She says the expected completion date is June of 2025.
This is also the 40th anniversary of what started as the Mitchell Area Safehouse and now the Safe Place of Eastern South Dakota.
