Mitchell, S.D. – The Tiger-of-the-Week and GPAC Player-of-the-Week goes to senior running back Jamin Arend.
Arend, a senior from Emery, South Dakota, broke the school record for rushing touchdowns in a game with five while also compiling a career-high 212 rushing yards in the contest on 36 carries.
Arend moved into third all-time in Tiger history for career rushing yards with 3,235.
Jamin currently sits at the top in rushing in the GPAC in both yards and touchdowns and is fifth in touchdowns in the NAIA and sixth in rushing yards.
Arend also added six catches for 26 yards bringing his totals to 42 touches for 238 total yards.
Arend season totals currently sit at 153 rushes for 616 yards and eight touchdowns.
Jamin has also been involved in the pass game with his 20 catches for 158 yards.
Arend has had 100-yards from scrimmage in all but one game this season for the Tigers.
Arend and the Tigers take a week off before returning to Joe Quintal Field to take on No. 3 Morningside Saturday, October 14 with kickoff at 1:00 p.m.
