Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2025-2026 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.
Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Basketball Players-of-the-Week
Offensive – Macy Sievers, Dordt University (Guard)
Macy Sievers of Dordt University is this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports women’s basketball offensive player-of-the-week. Sievers, a junior from Storm Lake, Iowa, averaged a double-double in a pair of wins while converting 50 percent of her three-point attempts. In a win over Northwestern, she had 24 points while going a perfect 5-of-5 from the charity stripe. Against Mount Marty she dished out 13 assists. On the week Sievers averaged 19.5 points, 10 assists and 6 rebounds per game.
Defensive – Avery Broughton, Dakota Wesleyan University (Guard)
Avery Broughton of Dakota Wesleyan University is this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports women’s basketball defensive player-of-the-week. Broughton, a junior from Corsica, South Dakota, filled up the stat sheet on both ends of the floor for the Tigers in wins over Briar Cliff and Hastings. She posted 15 points, seven rebounds, two steals, and two blocks against the Chargers and followed it up with a 25-point, nine-rebound, five-block performance against the Broncos.
