No. 1 Centerville 51, No. 8 Deubrook Area 46
Izzie Eide had a game-high 22 points for Centerville, while Emma Marshall added 15 points and nine rebounds. Mataya Gouws led Deubrook Area with 15 points and six rebounds. Centerville shot 6-of-30 from three, while Deubrook Area was 2-of-8.
No. 5 Bennett County 51, No. 4 Parkston 49
Keeara Oakley led Parkston with a game-high 17 points on 6-of-19 shooting along with seven rebounds. Bennett County had three players in double figures, led by Peyson O’Neill’s 14 points. The Trojans were limited to just 26% shooting from the field and 6-of-25 from three.
No. 7 Dell Rapids St. Mary’s 61, No. 2 Harding County 50
Madala Hanson had a game-high 22 points for St. Mary’s. The Cardinals forced 31 Harding County turnovers and limited the Ranchers to 2-of-13 from three.
No. 6 Sanborn Central/Woonsocket 53, No. 3 Lyman 40, OT
The Blackhawks outscored the Raiders 15-2 in overtime after the game was tied 38-38 at the end of regulation. Liz Boschee had a game-high 23 points and 11 rebounds. Lyman shot just 29% for the game and 3-of-21 from three.

Semifinals, Friday, March 14th
No. 4 Parkston 56, No. 8 Deubrook Area 52, OT
Keeara Oakley with 17 points, while Berkley Ziebart added 16 points for Parkston. Deubrook’s Mataya Gouws had a game-high 23 points and eight rebounds on 8-of-12 shooting. Nobody else for the Dolphins had more than eight points. The Trojans outscored Deubrook in overtime 6-2.
No. 3 Lyman 57, No. 2 Harding County 48
Bree Smart led Lyman with 15 points, while Mak Scott added 13 points and 10 rebounds. Kamry Padden had a team-high 15 points for Hardin County. Lyman won despite turning the ball over 23 times
No. 5 Bennett County 44, No. 1 Centerville 41
Bennett County had two previous state tournament appearances in school history (1973 and 1974). Centerville’s 36 game winning streak comes to an end.
No. 6 Sanborn Central/Woonsocket 45, No. 7 Dell Rapids St. Mary’s 43
Liz Boschee completed a three-point play with four seconds remaining to give Sanborn Central/Woonsocket a 45-43 win over Dell Rapids St. Mary’s. Boschee finished with 14 points and 10 rebounds, while Jenna Miller had a game-high 16 points for St. Mary’s. The Blackhawks have never won a state championship in girls basketball
