Dakota Valley’s Logan Collette secured the individual title and propelled the Panthers to victory in the Class A state boys golf tournament at Central Valley Golf Course in Hartford.
Collette completed the two-day event with a total score of 5-over 149, edging out Canton’s Carson Steffensen by one stroke. Steffensen made a strong push after Day 1 but finished with a 6-over 150.
Meanwhile, Parkston’s Landon Weber had one of the standout performances on Day 2, improving by 19 strokes to tie for the third-best round.
Dakota Valley dominated the team competition, finishing with a 615, outpacing 2023 champions Vermillion by 14 strokes.
