SIOUX CITY, Iowa — Dakota Wesleyan Women’s Soccer picked to finish seventh out of 12 teams in the Great Plains Athletic Conference women’s soccer preseason poll.
DWU amasses 64 total points in the poll with a crop of returners ready to extend the team’s momentum from its GPAC playoff appearance last season. The Tigers return two 2025 GPAC All-Conference Second Team honorees with leading goal-scorer Hannah Petrucci and junior defender Meghan Hutchison.
DWU will also have back junior defenders Molly Colgrove and Mikayla Adams who started every game for the Tigers last season. The team is led by fifth-year Head Coach John Hakari who finished 5-4-8 a season ago, which stands as the team’s best record as during his tenure. See the full release from the GPAC here.
