Dakota Wesleyan’s Season Ends with Loss to Concordia

Seward, Neb. – Dakota Wesleyan recorded 8 hits and 2 runs but fell to Concordia 13–2, with runs scored in the third and fourth innings and no runs allowed over the final two innings.

Dakota Wesleyan recorded 8 hits and 2 runs in a 13–2 loss to Concordia. Carter Olek led the team with two hits, while Dexter Payne and Carter Brown each drove in a run in the third and fourth innings. Other hitters with one hit each included Lane DarrowTommy DuttonDiego JirauLandon Ruesink, and Alden Barrett. The team left six runners on base and struck out nine times.

Alexander Mizsak started on the mound and pitched five innings, allowing six runs (five earned) on seven hits, with four strikeouts and three walks. Dexter Payne pitched two-thirds of an inning and gave up seven earned runs. Broc Berry and Dakota Munger completed the final 1.1 innings without allowing any runs or walks. In total, Dakota Wesleyan pitchers struck out six and walked eight.
