
SIOUX CITY, IA — The Dakota Wesleyan baseball team was picked to finish eighth in the 2026 Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Coaches Preseason Poll, the GPAC announced this afternoon.
Dakota Wesleyan received 34 points after finishing 13-37 last year under Coach Dubanoski in his fourth year at the helm.
Concordia (NE) has been picked to take the crown with 98 points, while Morningside (Iowa) follows suit with 87 points.
DWU will open its 49-game season on the road for a tournament in Joplin, MO, against Clark (IA) & College of the Ozarks. On February 14th, DWU will face Clarke (IA) at 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM at Joe Becker Stadium and play College of the Ozarks the following day at 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM. The Tigers will be at home 20 times this year, with the home opener scheduled for March 12th against Bismarck State (N.D.) at Drake Field.
