Mitchell boys tennis will host day two of the ESD conference tournament on Wednesday as a a rain delay on Tuesday morning allowed only singles matches to be completed.
The tournament will resume this morning in Mitchell at Hitchcock Park with all 12 doubles matches on the court beginning at 8 am.
Mitchell is currently fourth in the nine-team field with 92.5 team points. Harrisburg leads with 199 points, while Brandon Valley is in second at 170 points.
Zach Fuhrer won Flight 6 singles for the Kernels, defeating Gavin Stone of Brandon Valley in the finals 10-7, while Drake Jerke finished second for Mitchell in Flight 4 Singles.
